Lalita Taylor’s impressive background includes her current position as the Executive Producer of the BBC Academy Fusion Project and Chair of BBC WiSTEM, a staff network representing 700 women in STEM. As the owner of Southwick Media, she has led the delivery of award-winning campaigns for various charitable organizations and foundations, demonstrating her commitment to driving positive social change.
Throughout her tenure at the BBC, Taylor has excelled in numerous roles, serving as an Executive Producer, Project Director, Hybrid Learning Events Director, Social Media Editor and Politics Producer. Her contributions have been instrumental in shaping the BBC’s coverage of high-profile events, such as the Oscars, and spearheading innovative initiatives in digital technology and social media broadcasting.
Taylor’s dedication extends beyond her professional endeavors, as evidenced by her involvement in various philanthropic initiatives and advocacy efforts. She serves as a judge for the National Diversity Awards 2024, an Advisory Board Member for Noon, a Founding Trustee of the Fathers Development Foundation, and Fellow of the RSA and Society of Leadership Fellows at Windsor Castle, among other roles.
